I have been called a "Dirty Jew", "a Member of the Tribe" and "Jew Boy". What does this signify? To begin with, I am now 77 years old, so I can no longer be called Jew Boy, since in fact, I am considered a senior citizen. As for being a Member of the Tribe. that was simply a question directed at me to determine whether I was Jewish. As for being Dirty Jew, this had nothing to do with personal hygiene habits. I bathe regularly, use Listerine Mouth Wash, brush my teeth and apply deodorant every day, except on religious holidays. All of the above I was called by Christians. So, what was the worst thing a Muslim called me? "A Jewish dog". Frankly I never owned a dog, so why the name calling?
It would not matter if I bathed three times a day. This is not about cleanliness. This is about purity for those who believe they have replaced the Jews in God's favor. Israel is a fossil people. They have been replaced by a new dispensation. They are impure and are not entitled to equal rights and acceptance.
The irony is that it is not the view of the Bible or the Prophets. In fact, Paul makes this clear in Romans.
"Do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you." (Romans 11:18)
What does God want of people? He wants their repentance and not their destruction. What do His Prophets preach? They preach the restoration of Israel, the deserts blossoming like the crocus and the rebuilding of the formerly deserted communities. What do you see around you when coming to Israel if not these same prophecies being fulfilled before your eyes. Has the God of Israel changed His Mind?
"Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your eyes round about and see; They all gather together, they come to you. Your sons will come from afar, And your daughters will be carried in the arms. Then you will see and be radiant, And your heart will thrill and rejoice; Because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you. The wealth of the nations will come to you." (Isaiah 60:1-5)
Come to Jerusalem and become a part of the spiritual blessings which will come upon the world. Come into the light and leave behind the spiritual darkness which covers the earth.
Wishing you Eternal blessings at this special Season of Spiritual Outpouring.
